Norm Paget BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY

Born in Barrie, Ontario. Norm Paget graduated from Ryerson Poltechnical Institute with a diploma in Electronic technology. After post secondary education Norm went to headed up his family run business, where he over saw the day-to-day activities, until pursuing a career in Real Estate in 1989.


Norm serves on a number of local community groups, such as the Glen Williams Town Board, the Canada Day Committee, Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce, Crime Stopper and numerous other committees at the Region of Halton.

In 2001 Norm Paget was elcted as President of the Halton Hills chamber of Commerce,and served from 2002-05, Norm still gives his guidance and expertise to the business community. Norm has represented our local business community at a number of events through out the years; In 2005 he hosted breakfast with the Honorable John Manley, Deputy Prime Minister of Canada here in Halton Hills. Through his strong leadership and business skills he was able to restructure and rebuild the chamber of commerce.

Norm is also a member of the Canadian Real Estate Association, The Ontario Real Estate Association and the Brampton Real Estate Board, and helps out on numerous committees in these organizations as well.

Norm is also involved in numerous community groups and boards;

  •  Junior Achievement Executive Team

  • Physician Recruitment committee
  •  supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network
  • Regional Municipality of Halton Citizens Committee review of salaries.
Norm has been involved in other local initiatives; Sign by law, Go transit shelters, Communities in Blooms, Halton Hills Road Trip. Norm is also involved in his church, and is a member of the planning committee of Community Unity, a committee of the Georgetown & Area Ministerial Association. He also assisted leading “Just ME & The Kids”, a program designed to help single parents and their children deal with the trauma of divorce.

Norm is currently a member of the Georgetown Optimist club, as president elect.

Norm’s dedication and commitment, demonstrates his passion to make Halton Hills a better place.

When not at work or volunteering his time Norm enjoys camping, boating, and putting the finishing touches on his back yard pond.
