Official Opening Ceremonies Halton Hills Fire/EMS Facilities

In March 2008, the Town of Halton Hills Council approved the recommendations to commence the construction of the new Joint Fire/EMS Facility at 53 Maple Avenue and the Fire Headquarters Facility at the Eighth Line and 10 Side Road. Construction of the two facilities was completed in the Summer2010.

1. Halton Hills Fire Department Headquarters Station 14007 10 Side Road, Georgetown Friday, September 10th at 10:45 am

2. Halton Hills Fire Department & Halton Region EMS Station 53 Maple Avenue, Georgetown Friday, September 10th at 11:30 am

The investment in fire protection, prevention and emergency medical services will benefit the Halton Hills community by increasing co-ordinated, effective and efficient service delivery for Halton Hills residents from one facility at 53 Maple Avenue, and delivering a new fire headquarters to service the greater Halton Hills area at Eighth Line and 10 Side Road. Both buildings are designed to be environmentally friendly
meeting state of the art LEEDTM certifications.
